We created a new platform to help potential buyers walk through a place (360 virtual tours) and get information easily without ever having to move the palm of their hand.
The Guardian Calgary
About The Client
Industry: Real Estate, Hospitality
The Guardian is the tallest residential tower in Calgary. The Guardian’s twin 44-storey towers rise up proudly to create an instantly recognizable landmark in Calgary’s ever-changing skyline. Its modern 1 & 2 bedroom homes were designed to take in panoramic views of the city skyline, the rivers below it and the mountains on the horizon.
With changes to the current economy and new health risk restrictions with COVID-19, in April 2020 we were invited through HL Digital to rebuild the online experience of browsing through The Guardian Calgary’s properties and website experience.
We Started With Industry Research
We worked in tandem with HL Digital and the client to explore the pains of the existing platform and to preplan for what will happen in the real estate industry with COVID-19. We also looked into policies coming into space with visiting properties in person and when they were allowed and not allowed.
Content Audit & Digital Strategy
With the Guardian being an iconic staple in the city of Calgary and equipped with a database of content from HL Digital, we explored how we can create an experience where potential customers can easily see all aspects of the building online without leaving the safety of their home.
The New Experience
We decided to create a new platform on wordpress CMS that will allow potential clients to be able to browse on their mobile devices every single aspect of the property. The website includes 3D virtual walkthroughs, digital floor plans and photo galleries of all the different residential layouts. We also decided to create an existing portal for current property owners where they can access all resources of their property in one place.
We have created a new platform to help potential buyers walk through a place (360 virtual tours) and get information easily without ever having to move the palm of their hand.
We ended up streamlining the process a potential customer has to take to purchasing a property at The Guardian. As a result, the average site time increased by 20% and the number of short calls volume call decreased.
