About The Client
Industry: Events, Entertainment
Rogers Arena is the home of the Vancouver Canucks hockey team, as well as venue for some of the biggest concerts and shows in the city. It is also home to the Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League. The arena also hosted the ice hockey events at the 2010 Winter Olympics. It was also previously home to the Vancouver Grizzlies of the NBA from 1995 to 2001. Rogers Arena’s seating capacity is 18,000+.
The Problem
An outdated design
With an ever changing layout for multiple events throughout the year, the current DJ booth was outdated, hard to dissemble and not visible to fans in the arena. We were invited to rethink how the DJ booth should be designed and built so that it is able dissembled faster than the current DJ booth.
The Results
We built a DJ Booth at Rogers Arena for the Vancouver Canucks Hockey and Lacrosse Team. The DJ booth and back wall can be disassembled within 30 minutes in order to move between narrow areas around the arena. Built in collaboration with Mitch Bax.
